I purchased Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic and The Royal Road to Card Magic

Those are very good books to start with. Unfortunately you are about to lose this post to an event here that happens often to legitimate postings. Hopefully the advice given was good for you. As I said, do not worry about hand size. Many magicians, myself included do not have large hands and perform perfectly fine. The skill is the key ingredient and the desire. Take it slow, find what you really like and go after it. Good luck and keep on this forum for advice and (mostly) helpful critiques.

Close Up Card Magic is traditionally referred to as the "bible of card magic."
it's not about finger flicking stuff, its about entertaining magic.
As you can discern from these posts, Harry is not bashful. He tells it like it is and is a wonderful teacher.

I got a lot out of Card College and Royal Road as well. I like the tricks and explainations in Card College a little better.
