Do you ever notice that when a question is asked as an OP in a thread, and the question is adequately answered by a following post, at least 5 more posters have to repeat (in their own words) the exact same answer? Sometimes I think people are repeating as a joke, but after scrolling through the thread, it becomes apparent it's not a joke. Are these people trying to increase their post count, or do they just need to be heard?

Not everyone reads the previous postings.
Most people have no reading comprehension. One or the other or both combined and you have repeaters. and turbo posters(newer members, high post counts) do just that...increase their post count...ie yada yada posts, nothing with real value. |

You can't get your post count up in this section. Just your aggravation level.

There are much worse things than a repeated answer.
For example, I'd rather talk to a happy and friendly idiot than a miserable and unfriendly smart person any day of the week.

Did you just call me a bad Hobbit? Because I'll have you know my toes are plenty hairy!

... and scary as well I would bet.
I think this qualifies as a bad Hobbit.

Yes we can
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

That smoke cloud looks ectoplasmic. "For my next piece, Bilbo's Spirit Cabinet."

That cartoon Rankin/Bass Hobbit was a great adaptation IMO.
I still pop it in and watch it occasionally.
