I'm 47, and when I was but a wee shaver I went to the Arkansas State Fair and there, in the Hall of Industry was the most captivating chap I'd ever seen. He had a deck of cards that worked miracles. He was smooth, funny and amazing. My mom knew she'd have to buy one of those Svengali decks before we left.
As the years past I came to know that fine gentleman as the infamous Col. Seymour, the 'king of korn'. He was an institution around the south for many years. I was blessed to visit him on occasion. He was a fascinating fellow.
