No, to both questions. I own this manuscript. It's a clear case of "You get what you pay for".
I guess it's a workable prop. but I don't like it. It's best used in pre-show work, but it looks cheap and tacky for that purpose. I've decided that if/when I need a pad like this for pre-show, I will buy a professionally made one.

Looks like Patrick Jane as a youngster at the top of the page. That means this is legit.
Seriously though. I haven't looked through a lot of imp pads but I think the tommy pad seems good. You should check it out. |

You really can't go wrong with the Tommy Pad, the Butterfly Pad or the ParaPad. I own all three and love them all.
I have no knowledge of the mentalist pad... |

I'll throw in my vote for both the Tommy Pad and Riggs' Beautiful Butterfly. They are both excellent in their own right.
Fabio, If I were you, I would spend a bit more and get either of those instead of the "The Mentalist Pad". |
