Does anyone know what fase is that after 4:53 , here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JunoEw8yrjc&feature=related ?

Thanks

ps: If you don't have his books, get it soon as you can, they are great.

I believe that last CTTA bit in the second video is a variation on a Zarrow idea. Don't quote me on that.

I too love Ascanio, and this routine. But with him you have to tread very lightly--he's one of those guys whose material is so idiosyncratic to their own personality and body language that it's easy to fall into the trap of becoming an Ascanio, jr., which looks foolish and rings false.

Someone said it's Bill Goodwin's handling of spectator cuts the aces. Will check.

Yes I agree, the books are fantastic.

Yes Bill Goodwin published this version in his DVD set by buck twins

To me, that video is just a worse and easier copy of Arnaud Chevrier's handling of this routine.

Looked pretty much like Ascanio's handling, with some minor personalized flair (thanks to Ascanio techniques).

Wasnt aware that Arnaud had a version of this.

I quite like the Ascanio routine and the patter theme though dislike both the endings Ascanio & this guy used. I like the one in the older Ascanio routine better, even though its quite crude in method.
