Of course when you're being forced to take one of two options, you can't really be said to be "choosing" anything. Not that these people shouldn't be in these situations.
It's amazing, people will criticize you for "biting the hand that feeds you," while they're busy praising the hand that beats them.

You are choosing between two options, buy can you be said to have "choosen" to go to jail when presented with get arrested or get shot?
My point was just that it's not EXACTLY "voluntary," maybe in letter but most certainly not in spirit.
