Here we go again (proving a previous point I made on a different thread)! "Cite your sources" they demand and when you do the sources become the focus. It doesn't matter how thorough the research or what the content is if they are backed by anyone remotely considered "right wing" then it's all biased and dismissed out of hand. I am still interested in seeing the other sources cited by Woland, should he choose to post them (in response to Pops request). But it's all perfectly legit if the data comes from a trusted goevernment funded research group or even left wing/communist fatcat funded scientist or group. No one is supposed to know or question it then! It boils down to they want it their way and they want to win on every issue and it is always political. The thing that needs to happen is educating the public at large on both sides of these important issues. Not this lopsided "the debate is over" kind of brainwashing crap that we get through the media in a constant non-stop barrage (kind of like some of my sentences)! LOL When most of the time there never was any kind of legitimate debate.
Let me just say that hoaxers are among every grouping, yes even within the Christian camp. So let's not assume ones beliefs automatically mean they come down on a predictable side of a current or scientific issue. Glen

Not to oversimplilfy things, but it's pretty much the same reason that the party who believes more in the Bible tends to reject science regarding everything from stem cell research to a bunch of old men telling women what they can do with their own bodies. Some people reead Christian sites to get their "scientific" information. That's like reading a review about an Android phone written by a hardcore iPhone fanboy. That's a major reason some people have a warped view of science. |

So we listen to all left wing groupings as absolute truth and right wing is biased. Got it.
A shame those so interested in so called progress want to throw us backward.

Hi Payne,
Don't the satellite temperature estimates show less apparent warming than the surface measurements? I will next post some links to evidence that the tree-ring temperature surrogate data has also been manipulated by the warmists. |

Yes Glen.
Jeff anyone who wants to reduce global warming is by definition wanting to halt progress. Sort of a generalization but you seem to thrive on them. Why do you so hate religion? Interesting how the solution to the problem is a more powerful government taxing us more. Same solution to health care. Same solution to everything. I will have to give this some thought.

Wow the number of worldwide scientists in favor of manmade global warming (hoaxers) rose from 90% to an incredible 97% in just a day! I think your numbers are over-stated and you are not even able to repeat them consistently.

If that truth shows me there is a god, I'm ready to accept it. I know VERY FEW religious people who would be willing to accept that there is no god. |

The agenda lies with the hoaxers that want to cash in on carbon credit schemes and usurp untold power and control over every Americans' life. Not to mention every other country on the planet as well, they just havent got the worldwide system in place to centrally control it yet. I am not in favor of willingly giving up the freedom that I have inherited and solemnly acknowledged all of my life, at the cost of all those that bled and died to forge it, to appease a bunch of hoaxers and others that don't seem to care or see the what's really going on. Why do the solutions always involve more government power and control and less freedom for the citizens (who are supposed to be sovereign according to our constitution)? Maybe we hold off on any new regulations or "bans" and continue to study and understand the extremely complex system that is our climate? We do NOT understand it well enough yet.

The whole scientific community around the world decided to dump their lifelong pursuit for truth to cash in on those carbon credits (my cut was almost $18 last year). So who told you? The so-called "carbon credit schemes" were a Republican idea. "Cap and trade" was endorsed by both McCain and Palin in the 2008 election. It was only after Obama indicated that he felt it was a good idea that the Republicans suddenly turned against it.
Look it up. |
