Good day, dark bretheren...

I hope I'm okay in posting the following, regarding our latest release, 'Matilda's Memorium'

Meet lovely, gentle Matilda; one of the sweetest 12 year-old girls you could hope to spend time with. Full of hope and love for all, Matilda has only one problem:

Matilda is dead.

Tonight, though, even that won't stop her from talking to your audience, because Matilda has a very important message to deliver before she can finally cross over, and find the peace that she so badly deserves...

Matilda's Memorium is a complete Victorian Pendulum Séance, the likes of which you've never seen before; replete with a plethora of beautifully crafted props, including Matilda's doll (which is used as a Pendulum Mat, the bloody slash-marks carved into her delicate porcelain flesh indicating her answers), a memento mori Locket (with a picture of poor, dead Matilda and friend), which is used as a pendulum, a framed portrait of Matilda and a beautiful miniature brass candlestick, complete with a supply of miniature black candles (to be lit during the Séance), to name just a few.

What's more, Matilda's Memorium comes complete with a hugely powerful back-story, to be used as a climax, once your Medium (audience volunteer) has finished asking her their questions:

You see, Matilda didn't just die of natural causes - she was brutally murdered, by one of three suspects...and she KNOWS who her killer was.

For the first time in any available pendulum effect, your audience can ask a question, have it answered by the Pendulum, and you can show the given answer to be 100% correct, completely dispelling any notion of 'ideomotor response' or other natural phenomena being behind the Pendulum's movement.

Matilda's Memorium is a truly unique piece of bizarre theatre, which you will cherish as much as your audience.

Greetings brethren,

Just a very brief update; the first batch of five is now completely gone, but we have decided to do one more run this year, so get across to the store and take a look, if you think this effect would suit your style (it's certainly not to everyone's taste!)

Thanks Doug!

We've had more tan one report that spectators often report feeling the doll 'twitching', as they hold it.

The dolls are completely ungaffed, so it's a testament to the performers ability, coupled with the props and back-story that this seems to play so powerfully. To say we were thrilled with the feedback we've had so far would be a huge understatement Smile
