I love this trick. Blake showed it to me a few years back and I LOVED it. The advertisement is perfect because when I first met him I asked him what is with the ring and so did everyone else. What a great way to show someone a trick... They ask you. Ofcourse wearing a dollar ring is not going to fit everyone performance style but for those who don't mind will love this routine.
The method is so easy! The hardest part will be folding a ring which you will learn in no time. Ryan |

Could this be adapted for other currency or only suitable for dollars

I don't know off the top of my head how other currency look but I would say as long as you can fold it so the value of the bill is showing you would be good.

I was speaking off my experience from back then so I see now he is including a gimmick. I don't know if it just in includes what you need to make your own or it is already made. But I don't see why it couldn't be adapted to any currency.

Thank you for all your kind words Ryan!!! Yes the effect should be able to be adapted to other colors as well. The DVD comes with stuff you apply to your own currency. I show you how to make your own gimmick out of american currency but if your currency is different then all you need to do is follow along with you money and the effect should work the same with small tweeks made here and there to account for size differences in different foreign currencies.

Sounds and looks great. my only question is, is it really easy to do? As a hobbyist, too many times I have read it is super easy only to buy an effect and find out it's not remotely easy, or may in fact be easy for a seasoned pro. Is this one easy enough for a hobbyist doing magic for family and friends on occasion? thanks in advance for any guidance

That is a good point. I mean the sleight is covered pretty easily since it happens in the start. I would compare the difficulty to scotch and soda. In Scotch in soda it is easy but you need to be comfortable in handling a gimmick in the open.

This looks good I wont take that away from the effect. My question is, does it suit me as a BRAND NEW 33 YEAR OLD FATHER!!! Or would it suit a younger magician.Should I maintain doing a more adult based version of the effec?

Paisa: I am with you. I couldn't see myself wearing it casually but I could if I was working a Gig. When working I believe we magicians get cut a lot of slack. We are carrying cards, coins and furry red balls so is it really a stretch to be wearing a money ring? Besides Blake made a good point. If you doing it take to table then the manager would know where you been.
But casually would be tougher for me. I would amongst my close friends but couldn't see myself wearing to the gym. Ryan |

Is it really workable for changing a bill to a different color bill?

I really like this and see no issue wearing a dollar ring while working. It should be interesting enough to allow a spectator to ask about it. At that point you have just been asked to show them something. They are not aware that it is the beginning of an effect and are eager to see it.

I'd also like a bit more clarification on doing this with Euro's.
The 5 is most likely too small. So it would be me wearing the gimmick as a Blue €20, and borrowing a Red €10 (which is smaller than a 20). I read "should work, with small tweaks made.." Are these explained on the DVD? Thank you for your time and consideration.

Any news on whether this definitely works with different coloured currency?

The two bills need to have same colour, at least the parts which are visible.
