I need a faster way to control a card from the middle to the bottom. Currently I'm doing a double under cut then an overhand shuffle.. Thanks in advance ive been toying with this effect for some time and this is my last fix.

Glide a good old classic, the Cull looks awesome. Definitely going to learn that.
Let me give some more info.. Spectator selects a card, placed in the middle, now I need to control the card to the bottom to set up a Hindu shuffle. |

Why not just do the double under cut with the card arriving to the bottom.
If you return the card to the center using a jog control you can just lift the card to the bottom of the top packet with your right thumb while retaining the br**k (instead of just getting your br**k above the returned card) and your double undercut will then leave the card on the bottom. That will at least skip the overhand shuffle. -Mary Mowder |

See "Mike's Move" from The Devil's Picturebook by Derren Brown. The card is placed in the center, and in the action of pushing it in, it is invisibly moved to the bottom

If you want to show the card clearly in the middle and secretly move it to the bottom it would be hard to beat the Convincing Control.

Card is shown sticking partway out of deck, then pushed flush and then, nothing. It's already done. I will check to make sure I have the current name correct. This is a very old idea, probably originating with Hofzinser, but modern versions are based on Marlo writings. My favorite version is Ron Bauer's and is in one of his little trick booklets. |

I agree with the convincing control. It's worthy of the name because when done well the spectator has no idea that the card is anywhere but the center as you push it in flush, even though by that time it's already on the bottom.

You could do the diagonal palm shift from Erdnase if you are so inclinded
