My routine consists of six basic spells: 1 - a magical quick; 2 - I put a spell on at least four people on stage 3 - an stunning technique; 4 - a magical emotional and intimate; 5 - a spell with a hypnosis; 6 - a final prediction. I would especially like to thank Mike (Tenchu), for their ideas on the prediction that use as closing the show. At the beginning of the presentation on stage, I give a sealed envelope to a member of the audience. Suggestions are welcome, Leo. |

Although there was no talking to be heard, your audience looked like they were having fun. That's the main aim!
Some of your movements looked well thought out too, IMO.

Mark,
Did you think is a good structure? The presentation lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. IneerCircleWannabe, Thanks for your support. |

Hi Leonardo, believe me you don't want any advice from people that you don't know or lack credibility... it's imposible to suggest anything without hearing or wachting the whole act.
Regards and keep the good work!! Mark |

Besides the problem of video quality (the best scenes were included), here in Brazil people tend to copy the acts of other magicians / mentalists. Telling a good joke in effect, is the certainty that you will lose the privilege of surprise here.
An additional problem for you is that my lines are in Portuguese. |

I think I have some problems with MARKETING. I can't sell me very well. People in Brazil don't know Mentalism, they don`t like magicians, and the most famous magician in Brazil is The Maskered Magician (shame).
Below a old presentation (in portuguese): http://youtu.be/Gv_E598GzSI I really don't understand why I can't sell myself for a club or restaurant. |

Hi Leonardo
I'm from Brazil too and I understand you. The majority of the population don't know what is mentalism and the most famous magician here is The Masked Magician, truly a shame... I see as a cultural problem from a nation without a strong sense of identity. We can overcome this by doing what you are doing: Being original, having good showmanship. From a marketing standpoint and being an filmmaker, I think you should work more in the production value of your videos, using better editing, better quality of image... With a digital camera, like an Canon 5D or Canon 7D you can shoot your performances with great quality, this will attract more visistors to your videos in your channel. You should too see ways to advertise what you do, I suggest you to start a google "Adwords" campaign with an R$100,00 reais voucher, it's easy, this will bring targeted visitors to your site and potential clients. I think that marketing it's 50 percent of your bussiness, learn that, improve the design of your website, the internet is full of opportunities. I hope this helps you! |
