I am so sorry to hear this Chris, I hope hospice kept her comfortable in her final days. That was the route we took with my Father in Law a few years back and he went peacefully and painlessly after suffering lung cancer mesophilioma and all that crap from working in the mill all his life and smoking 3 packs a day till he just plain couldn't no more. I know the holidays will not be as happy as in the past but be strong for whatever young ones you have around. As I extended to Devious, I will PM you my phone number. Being home on dissability I have all the time in the world to talk (or just listen) my hours are 24/7. Well wishes to you and again, sorry to hear. Jeff

Hospice's are wonderful. My Mum died in one and they were fantastic!

Kim died at home, where she belonged. No disrespect towards hospice care facilities or those who work there, but I was *damned* if she was going to die there.

I kept my promises.

I brought her home, and she wasn't alone when she died. I was there, and for that small mercy I am grateful. At the very least I was able to give her the dignity, respect and comfort she deserved.

I would like to thank all of you for the tremendous outpouring of goodwill; it's making things a little easier.

Kim's Memorial service will be held tomorrow, December 17th @ 5:00 PM Arizona Time at the Mountain View Cemetary in Mesa, AZ. I know those unable to attend in person will be there in spirit.
