Hey guys,
By far, the best show on television for me last year was American Horror Story. After every episode, I thought that there was no way that they could top what just happened yet, by the end of the next, I was thinking the same think about that episode. If you missed it, I highly recomend that you all look for the entire season on DVD. It is a Bizarists dream or at least mine. To my delight, it has been announced that American Horror Story will return this Fall. I am thrilled that Jessica Lange will be returning to it as well. American Horror Story II will be a prequel set in the 60's. This instalment will include Ms. Lange as she will revise her role as Constance. The story will be centered around her as the head of an insane asylum! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Ho......eason_2) The show may inspire all of you LUNA owners and with its popularity, will undoubtedly spark an interest in your sitters on the insane asylum genre. Mmm. Sounds like the premise of my last TV show. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1305562/ Mind you - you can never have enough insane asylums! I too loved the first season. Preferred when it stayed closer to the horror. Felt it got a bit tongue in cheek at times, and that undermined it a bit.

@Marqus- ThanX for the links and information!
@papalazarou- Love that cover! The story line with the birthing coach sounds really interesting to me. I too preferred when it stayed more towards horror but I believe that if it was all dark, some viewers would tune out since it would have gotten too heavy for commercial television. Some of the levity and tongue-in-cheek moments sort of served as a "palete clenser" for the average FX viewer who likes a little light moments mixed in their darkness as proven by some of the other FX hits. I have to admit that after some of the scenes like the ones with the Infantata or the abortion doctor's experiments, I needed a little levity myself. Vanity |

Hi Vanity,
Yes, I think you're probably right. It got really nasty didn't it! I loved Jessica Lange - and it seems really brave that the new season will have little to do with the first story. As a writer myself , I can see the liberation of starting with a clean slate. You should try and check out "Psychoville". I think you might like it! And you really might enjoy my earlier stuff: (its all very blackly comic) - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0184135/ |

Agreed that American Horror Story was AWESOME. I rememeber after season one saying to myself, "Well what the heck is season two going to be about now?" I am glad that they are starting from scratch! Will definitely be watching to see what kind of storylines can be adapted to magick.

The clown, the coach, the telekenetic dwarf! whats not to love! Then the carnival owner, the taxi driver the whole toad thing, whatever that may be- I am all in!
I will check them out but I am embarrassed to admit that I have to watch anything with strong British accents with subtitles. ;-) Vanity |
