Could someone advise me where (Internet) I can purchase the "sticky" material, i.e. tape or circles that are transparent and sticky on both sides, needed for tricks like Alladin or Bank Job, to cause two cards to lightly stick together?
Thanks. Mike

You can buy double-sided transparent tape at any office supply store e.g. Staples, Office Depot.
This tape has more adhesive strength than you would probably want, but you can reduce it's adhesiveness by running your fingers over it until it suits your needs.

Hey Mike,
Just thought I'd drop you a line as you're one of only two people I've ever heard of that own "Bank Job". Come to think of it, you don't actually say you own it, I'm just presuming you do! I created "Bank Job" and this is just to say that I hope you enjoy it and get as much use out of it as I did! Aaaaw, I'm suddenly feeling all proud of my little packet trick......that's how sad I am! Anyway, regards the "sticky" stuff, I used to use double sided Scotch tape which I'm fairly sure you can get at most on-line stationary stores. Your alternative is Magician's wax which you will find at almost any on-line magic store. One works just as well as the other really, although for Bank Job, I always prefered the tape. Yours, Dave Forrest.

Dave:
Thanks for the info! Wanted you to know that "Bank Job" is one of my most treasured card tricks. I love it, and it is a BIG hit with the spectators I perform it for. I'm not really very good at most sleights, so look for tricks that don't require complex or difficult sleights. Also like to do most of my tricks fairly close-up. Card tricks are somewhat my 'mainstay.' Anyway, it's a great trick...!! Mike

Hey MRReed, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you get good reactions with it; I always did to. In fact I'm thinking of bringing it back into my regular list of routines as a result of this thread.
And WOW Eddy, that's now three people I know of that have it! I hope you get some use out of it also! I think we've got time for a shameless ad here...yes we do. If you liked Bank Job then look out for a new effect of mine coming out soon entitled "Matchbox!" It rocks!(even if I do say so myself ) And before that comes out, (I think) you should also keep your eyes peeled for "Breakthrough". I think Steve Brooks here at the Café will be reviewing this one when it's ready! Look out for it! Thanks guys. Yours, Dave Forrest.
