Huh. Can't remember what I said and it's apparently gone now. Well this will bug me for about 5 minutes.

But, as others have been pointing out, Mitt Romney resembles Bruce Wayne much more than he resembles Bane.

Actually, he resembles another Batman villain entirely - Two-Face.

My guess is that Rush for all his blah blah blah secretly wants Obama to win. He has gotten 4 great years of material for his show off his anti Obama rants and listeners and would like another 4 of the same. I think if Romney wins Rush won't have so much to talk about.

I am looking forward to seeing it, and enjoying it as a comic book movie, without trying to read anything political into it.

I've seen it, others have not.

Be considerate.

At least before you give it away, put a spoiler warning.

Just saw it. Yes, it was great. And it did indeed have a message.

A message might be read into it, but whether one was intended?

Actually, the first appearance of this "meme" (sorry, critter) was by a Democratic Party strategist, Christopher Lehane, as quoted in the Washington Examiner:

It has been observed that movies can reflect the national mood. Whether it is spelled Bain and being put out by the Obama campaign or Bane and being put out by Hollywood, the narratives are similar: A highly intelligent villain with offshore interests and a past . . . who had a powerful father and is set on pillaging society.

But, as others have been pointing out, Mitt Romney resembles Bruce Wayne much more than he resembles Bane.

Nice. Very nice.

I think this, and lobo with his baseball play by play of your hit are the only two worthwhile posts in the topic of Rush and Bane vs Bain.

Wow.
