Just picked up the above mentioned for 50p and also Riding the Bullet (2004) also 50p.Just love Stephen King novels, never seen Carnival of Souls, so looking forward to watching that one.

CoS is a favorite among American Horror Hosts, IMO because it actually has a decent plot and storyline (and this is hard to find in Public Domain films).

There are some things that are a bit campy, and some other parts that drag. Good, bad, or fish, it isn't M. Night Shymalan. However, as one of our cast members says, "Anything that starts with a good car crash can't be all that bad."
