I've not under my eyes the books in question at this very moment but I think I can answer to your question too... If I may
Psychic Magic was a series of volumes (6 volumes) and there was a poutpourri of ideas and tips, ranging from pendulum, psychometry, mental effects with cards, table tipping, contact mindreading, suggestion AND some Q&A. Real Mental Magic has a chapter for Q&A and other chapters for other stuff, like contact / no-contact mindreading, suggestion, Georgia Magnet kind of stunts and other things.

Oh... I forgot to mention another one of my favorite NON-WRITTEN Q&A booklets.
TWENTIETH CENTURY MINDREADING ACT - The Modern Spiritualist / Medium Act by Walter Magnuson & Anthony Albino I think it's hard to find that one today but, if you find it, GET IT without second thoughts. That booklet is a good companion to Anderson's Dynamite Mentalism.

Is the material in it out dated? Paolo recommends it and so does Doug Dyment so it must be good but I'm not sure that it is the type of material that I'm after I am after unwritten Q & A as mind reading, not spooky seance type of material Cheers TJ |

A very close friend does very well with this as Q & A.
He has a stand up on a table. He also has a giant rider-waite tarot deck. The only modification he has made is to remove the death card...you just can't deal with it in a group dynamic. On the other hand, the Devil card can sometimes be interesting... But I digress... He asks the person what their question is. He draws out three tarot cards and puts them on the stand so all can see them. He then does a three card tarot reading for that person on that question. The number of readings depends on many things. To me, this is the perfect Q & A. |

You can buy a giant Rider-Waite pack. Most large bookstores will have them, or they are easy to order.
This is the only pack I know of that comes large for the general population. I have seen limited editions of other decks hand-done for around $300 or so...the large Rider deck is around $20 I think. They are large enough to be seen in very large groups of people. |

I just purchased Dynamite Mentalism by George Anderson. I went thru it in one sitting. Some excellent thoughts in this book. Easy to update to this era also. The entire booklet is based on unwritten Q n A.

Not an unwritten Q&A but if you pick of GEMS OF MENTAL MAGIC there is an entire section in the abck that deals with how to answer questions similar to the ways Dynamite Mentalism etc. do... plus the book is only $5 of Lybrary.com
By the way - in the Dynamite Mentalism - how many of you finish with one of the 3 big climax answers? Do you find that ending does make a better punch or do you find finishing with a "real" person much more powerful?

I think I saw on ebay a full treatise written by Hull on answering questions from the platform. I'm sorry but I do not recall what the cover title was.

You probably meant THE ART OF CRYSTAL GAZING AND ANSWERING QUESTIONS by Burling Hull, an old 1920 pamphlet (which I have) and I found interesting. It can be used to answer mainly written questions and - with some ingenuity on your part - can be used for UNwritten questions too.
