Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a gimmick where I can produce jets of water from my hands. I thought about using a rubber bulb, but came across this device:

This looks very interesting, but I have heard very bad things about the company and haven't been able to contact them. Does anybody know if a similar device exists?

Thanks

George

There was a little yellow hardback book years ago by Arthur Ainslie called "Water Wizardry" that (I think) had a section about that. You can often find a copy on used book sites.

Jeff McBride had something in his lecture which may be available on one of his DVDs.

For the production you may want to check out some materials on oriental magic, a lot of those acts used water etc. and I have seen various discussion on sputing bowels of water etc.

There was also the finale for, I believe, Thurstons' show, and his rigging, both stage and body loads, have been detailed in print.

Arthur Ainslies' "Water Wizardry" is in project gutenburg, nothing to help in there. how about adapting a "camelbak" water carrier and a small battery pump?
I spent most of my money on magic and women, the rest i just wasted

Sorry. I could have sworn it was there.

Duplicate posting???

So?

I only read three sections on the Café, good idea to post the question where most relevant, and that could be in two or more spots.

Is is not permitted?

George,

It would seem one of my posts "vanished" it would have been nice if someone had let me know if it was inappropriate.

I gave the Thurston book reference, what he used etc. and suggested how it could be done. Perhaps I gave too much detail?

Did you see it, before it "vanished"???

Blair

P.S. P.M. me if you didn't see it.

Oh, and P.S. for DBC, as I post material on my Fan Page that may be of interest to other performers/collectors, and sometimes photos and info are referred to in my posts on the Café, it may be of interest to them to visit/join.

But he doesn't have to like me, just the page.
