..My subject is WRONG. It is in 2012..this year....This is a regional conference in 2012. The place is Shawnee, Kansas in the "land of Oz" Shawnee is in the metro Kansas City area.
This is a wonderful training, and is not the Big National one. ..and yes it is NOT next year but next month.

Well... Regardless of the year; I still wish I could come to it.

Hope to meet some of you who will be in the Kansas City(USA) area this weekend.

We are about 30 minutes west in Shawnee, Kansas

Lectures and workshops on Magic, Clowning Puppets, Skits...Friday Evening August 17 and all day on Saturday August 18th.

I will be doing a workshop on Improv this Saturday afternoon. For the big show on Saturday evening, Gary and I will be doing music preshow.(Gary on 12 string..me on harmonica and or ukulele or "vent"

We had a blessed weekend of worship, learning and sharing.

Dr. Jerry Burgess, our headliner was a wonderful new addition to the line up.
I loved his lecture on routining and learned a lot from him. His comment that gospel magicians should have even a higher standard to their acts(than non-Christian magicians) was very important. Some may think, as long as we have the message, that we can skimp on practice, writing, music...etc....
It all must come together for His glory.

My one regret is that I did not participate in Debbie's "His Hands", puppet workshop. Participants learned how(and did) convert stuffed animals into puppets.

Kevin Wade, Keith Leff, Joyce Olson, Virginia Paulson held wonderful lectures.
I had fun presenting on Improvisation.
