In an attempt to make the old new again I started researching old magic magazines. While browsing through the Sept. 1961 issue of The Linking Ring I found a clever silk routine by Canadian Magician Roy Cottee.

"Four separate silk effects are blended into a smooth paced routine in which two silks appear from a six-inch square of paper. These two are stroked and multiply to four and with these a quick version of the Sympathetic Silks is performed. Finally the four silks are bunched together and changed into a 36-inch silk. In a short two minutes the magician has performed a production, multiplication, transposition and transformation in pantomime." The effect uses a paper F**** Finger.

Is anyone else familiar with this routine?

I have not read this in a long time but Roy is a very creative and sound magic performer.
