Looks good. After a little thought, I can do it already. It might not be the exact method but I'll be surprised if it isn't. At any rate, nice effect!

I am not saying it is the same, but this looks awfully similar to Bob Solari's ASTONISH and Andy Nyman's Insane. Do we really need another one of these effects IF the method is the same?
Don't get me wrong, I don't think Astonish and Insane are bad, I just wonder if this is the same if we need another one.

Hi Guys
The following is a little bit of history on our Forthcoming release Sub Zero BY Wayne Dobson In 2011 Alakazam Magic purchased the rights to an effect that the great Wayne Dobson had previously published in his book WD40. Since that time Wayne and myself have been working on new handlings, routines and presentations using the method. Earlier this year my friend Andy Nyman sent me a link to the trailer of his new effect Insane. I immediately saw the resemblance between Insane and one of the effects included on Wayne's forth coming Sub Zero . I called Andy ( who was totally unaware of Wayne's previously published effect and did independently create Insane) and explained that Alakazam were about to release Wayne's effect Sub Zero. I decided to hold off on the release of Sub Zero to give Insane a bit of space to breath . The reason I'm telling you this is because we will soon be putting Sub Zero up for pre order and I would like it known that Sub Zero is Wayne's routine which he has previously published (albeit under a different title) Ps Sub Zero comes with 3 gaffs and various routines and presentation ideas. Sincerely Peter Nardi |

Hi Peter. I have insane but I may also grab this if it comes with the 52 jokers. Could you confirm if that is indeed the case?

Try penguin (cit.)
http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S14701 NOTE: All you need to do is add your own regular, blank faced or one way deck. :) Peace!

As mentioned above, Bob Solari has released "Astonish".....looks like the same effect but at half the price, and it does include a blank faced deck!

The Effect looks awesome
I have done this allready and the reactions are just wonderful. I think, the use of a deck that contains only jokers looks better IMO. I don't think that we have to show gaffed cards to the spec, and a whole deck of blanks? never. just my personal thinking, because blank cards don't exist in the real life.

I got this effect a few days ago and could perform it right out (I am a beginner). It´s very easy to do and gets great reactions.
It does not come with a Joker-force-deck (someone asked above). What you get are the few "special" things you need for the trick (in three variations: for stardard bicycle decks, ESP and in blanc), but you will have to bring your own deck in. I bought a Joker-force-deck because it´s much more interesting than doing it with a regular deck. I have never had a look into "Astonish", so I cannot rate the difference or advantages of Sub Zero, but I think it´s great. Especially for a beginner like me who could ot figure the trick out on his own (now that I know it, I wonder how I could be so blind ;D). |

Well seems like everyone so far is pleased with Sub Zero. The reviews and feedback definitely help with my endless decision making. Just curios since they are basically the same methods as Insane and Astonish, is it fair to ask can the spec handle the cards as they do in Insane?
Between Sub Zero vs. Insane which is stronger?
Posting ever so slightly.

Approx the same.
For people who own this: do you have a good solution on how to keep the prediction in an envelope and getting it out without messing too much?
