Last night we had our regular Ring 129 meeting.
One expects to see Gospel Magic at the FCM.

Steve Steiner shared one of his routines that he uses in Churches. He used a silk routine with a great song as background music.

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Not just in Church or at the FCM.

FCMer MagicBob is the former two term President of IBM Ring 211 in Grand Rapids. Quite often Bob will share with this large magical group the Gospel magic tricks that he does in church venues- and why not- that's what he and SuZie actually do! No one has ever said a word about it- the IBM sure does not limit it's Rings to "secular magic only, no one else need apply". Eugene Berger's "Gypsy Moth" story I saw Friday at Abbott's is pretty close to some kind of mystical religion as he presented it. Hail to Freedom of Speech!- we magicians still have it to enjoy.

During Ring meetings I try to mix it up myself.

I have done things ranging from:
1. Gospel song with puppet/vent
2. Routine used at Purim Festivals
3. Killer sleight of hand
4. Moments of true improvisation
5. Very bad punny filled routines
6. Sophisticated humor that only a few "got"
