Therefore, we need to get rid of stop signs, lights and traffic laws. I LOVE LOUD NOISES!

We need more stop signs because people think if there is none they can pile into the street without looking. Over powere cars, guys who don't realize bad guys will take your extended clip and atick it in your behind, guys who don't treat women with respect...bunch of wussies. While at it stop giving press to these idiots, they think they are famous. Call them 'the dip ****' or something.

There is a difference between a spanking and flat out abuse. There is more to parenting than spanking. And a spanking should only be used in as a last resort to punishment. Time outs, grounding, standing in a corner, sitting down and having a talk, are all to be used before you spank a child. As I mentioned before I may have only had 4 or 5 spankings my entire life, but they were all for good reason. Punishment is just negative reinforcement. I am trying to remember back to my college days in Psych class, The name Skinner comes to mind, but I could be wrong. But as negative reinforcement is used to punish your child, positive reinforcement should be used to reward good behavior. A strict moral upbringing, about violence and the difference between reality and fantasy is also needed. Kids need to not only know but understand that if you Stab, shoot, beat, or blow someone up in real life, they will not re-spawn 30 seconds later. (I am not sure if those fools in the Xbox argument understood this) I am not a parent, I have no kids of my own, but I do have 5 nieces and nephews. 2 in which my girlfriend and I babysit 5 days a week. I know things are different when it is your own kids. I am not arguing that any of this is the best way to raise your kids. I’m stating how I was raised, and it worked for me. I know how some other people my age were raised, and a lot turned out better, and a lot turned out worse. then again what do I know, I am a 24 year old without children of his own....

Kidding, actually. I've been to both London and Ireland, and once I got used to the roundabouts, wondered why we didn't see more of them in the US. I've been noticing them when they appear, and they seem to be appearing more and more. They are safer, since there's less cross traffic. Of course, my original point is highlighting the flaw in the "well we can't stop it, so why even try" argument.
