Boydy,
Go to the website of Heinz Minten Magic and contact him by: heinz@heinzmintenmagic.com He is from the Netherlands and living in Thailand. He is producing beautiful wallets in that country. He is a good guy to deal with. |

I would imagine you will need to draw your idea of a wallet in detail. Supply what leather you want and if lined or not. Size and pockets needed.
When seeking someone to do the prototype work for you, I would imagine that would be rather expensive process. I would think you can make a mock up out of paper, cardboard, heavy cloth, or vinyl to see if your idea is something that would work for you. If you are lucky, they will only charge you for their making of the product, whether you want to call it a Prototype of a finished product. Otherwise, for them to do all the preliminary work, it could get very expensive. That is if they are in business to make a profit. Just something to discuss with them before diving into a project. With these guys knowledge and experience, they can of course tell you from detailed information you give them, whether your wallet will be something that will do what you want it to do. If your idea is important to you, you should have your plans copyrighted before sending to anyone to make. I once called Owen's Magic and asked if they could convert their Rice Bowls into a Hanson Confette Bowl. He did, and only changed me for his additional work. Of course he knew exactly what he was doing and how to convert them. |
