I think the delightful and always charming Danny Doyle mentioned badgers the other month.

This morning in Sparks 'dont call us Reno' Nevada a happy go lucky badger walked into a water store to get out of the heat. Badger quickly told everyone to leave as it was his store now. The police and wildlife showed up and it seems that this was a ninja badger because he dodged the darts fired at him which started an hour long battle over the store. Finally a smart person put a can of catfood in a live trap and the badger went in to eat it and they got him back to the woods.

I tell you following the stand off on the radio was great fun.

Was it yesteray? I think o better cut the pills I heard it on the way too the school. It was fun though. I didn't even know badgers lived near here. I will read the reports, the radio guy was funny though.

Up around. Lake Tahoe they have a wolverine. DNA says it is from a region far off and some one brought it here and released it. I don't want to get close to a badger or wolverine.

I'm visiting La Crosse, WI for a couple of days.

Yah. They both have tendencies towards biting big chunks of flesh out of arms, legs, and buttocks. But not mine, no sir-ee. Give 'em plenty of room until they meander off.
