I lived through the '87 crash and there WAS a real fear of computerized trading. But we all got over it when we stood our ground and things came back. Like they most generally do, but patience and time are requirements. Now that I'm older I'm running out of time for these bounces, so for me, a more conservative approach is proving advantageous. If you're young, stay in the market! You have plenty of time. If you're an old fart, get out and find the safety valves.

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.
