Hi Guys

I was just wondering if anyone know's if replacement cards are available for Gordon Beans Entourage? I have had mine for a few years now and they need replacing and I would rather buy several back ups then buy the effect several times.

Many Thanks

Gordon said he is not interested in selling replacement cards due to "piracy"

Thought: try offering to send the damaged cards to him before he sends the new ones.

I need replacement cards too. Did sending the damaged cards to him first work, or is he not willing to help at all? I'd hate to have to buy everything again.

Forgive me if this sounds provocative, but a new set is only 20 bucks...if the set lasts you 'a few years' then 20 bucks is not a lot to ask IMO. Just hang the expense and buy another set.

You make a valid point Zuke, but,the OP has purchased the original and merely wants refills. While I understand Mr. Bean's concern for piracy, I think it is unfair for honest purchasers to have to pay full price for the method again. The suggestion was made that the OP could send the worn cards back to Gordon Bean; I think that is a reasonable suggestion. Gordon Bean is certainly entitled to his concerns of course. Simon Aronson on the other hand does sell just refills for effects like Side Swiped and Red See Passover. To each his own I suppose. Smile

I once owned that too. When my mind serves me right, there are only 2 g***ed cards - simple do**le fa**rs. Right?
If so, these 2 cards cost - handmade by me - only € 2.50 ea.
And that has nothing to do with piracy - these are common gaffs.

Forget, when I am wrong ....

Hi Card Maker, Thanks for you post. Just to confirm the cards are DF's however not straight forward DF's as one of the sides also has something different about them. (I can't say what as I don't want to upset anyone) In theory you could by the relevant cards and split them yourself to make the gaff. Although, it's probably better to get someone like yourself with more experience to make them up for you.

Thanks for all your posts

This is the problem with MOST ALL packet trick effects. NO REFILLS.

For a packet trick junkie like me, having to buy the complete package (DVD and whatever) this can get costly.
I can tell you that my packets do not last me a few years, more like a couple months with continual use, at the most.

The cards get very sticky ad dirty, even though I keep my hands very clean.
I have lost track of how many times I have replaced many of my favorites, at full price each time.
After much soul searching about a signature, I decided not to have one.

With the new replacement cards you also get the booklet, thus the cost; but the effect gives such service that I don´t mind buying a whole new set. I have two booklets so far.
Fluent Spanish speaker, if I can help anyone, let me know.

I was checking out Cardmakers site a couple of days ago because I was thinking of getting some gaffs made for a routine I designed and I noticed he does have the Entourage gaffs listed with a photo on his site. Yes, that's the Queens with the right split, for those who understand. Sorry I didn't check the price, but have a look.
