Maybe Im wrong, but this beautiful coin can be used to enhance your existing Sanctum presentation. Using your own imagination, the coin will help enrich your story. Possible scenarios: Did Sanctum members identify themselves using these coins? Were they used to gain access to secret ceremonies? Just how far back in history does this organization go? The coin seems seems to suggest ancient roots

So cool

It is indeed an ancient artifact. it works like the sanctum membership card, it can add so much ambiance to your set giving it a feel of historic fact.
it shows how deep into world politics and power the sanctum are rooted. and yes I can think of so many ways to use this in effects that have a strong story. the tie ins are right there for all to see if you know what your looking for.

think of all the religion and mystical burial rights used coins. think of the rituals where coins were used as the focus.
do you have a lucky coin?
heard of coins from a dead mans pocket?
coins on the yes of the dead.
a coin in the mouth of the dead.

there are so many arcane uses of coins written in ancient texts that one can not help but know that power resides in coins. sanctum was and still is based in the search for the most powerful magicks.

hence mamon {money} is the root of all evil.....sanctum referance in the bible its self.

Dang it, I might have to sell a few guitars from my collection just so I can afford to buy all this new stuff from Outlaw.

Its a coin artifact, if you do any coin work now its bizarre, it has a couple things on it you can force using the cards, its a sanctum id card from ancient roman times. its what ever your imagination can come up with. that's the beauty of sanctum there is no limit to what you can do as long as you try to be creative in approach.

all I need to know is what size it is and that its a coin and I can think of hundreds of effects that it can aid in.
sanctum makes you think out side the box. not everyone can do it, but for those special people that are chosen its a reputation maker.

Next week Sanctum 5 will be here...

We are also minting a Roman coin that has a Relic magnet cast inside it. No countermarks, no seams, no bezel. It looks like it was buried for the past 2,000 years Smile just like the Sanctum 5

Sanctum 5 was cast from a Marcus Aurelius coin I paid $125 for. It is pretty much an exact duplicate except for the countermarks that we're hammering into it.

A numismatist would have a hard time telling them apart Smile

The countermark here is a photoshop example of what it will have, but this is the actual coin we cast in the shop.
The real countermark is even cooler looking. There is also a secone countermark, A V for 5. Pics coming next week.
