Hi there!
So...we have one of the bullet catch rigs with the caps, and need to make the bang...well bigger. LOUDER. Any advice? |

The easiest solution is to mike it. Otherwise, maybe you can go to black powder blanks or 209 primers. I am not familiar with this rig so I am taking a guess.

You may have to modify your itme somewhat. It is the primer used in the center of a shotgun shell.

Hmm...I know that's a kinetic primer, and the rig is fire....I'll look into it more though. Thank you so much!

You might consider the paint-ball catch, Most of the drama, none of the risk.
It is always darkest just before you are eaten by a grue.

I believe it was called 13 have died.
I remember this actually being done on That's Incredible television show from years ago. They took the guy to the hospital because he was bleeding from his mouth. He had the rifle on a stand, no laser back then. Just a good scope. He held a small block of wood in between his teeth. Lucky, he did not kill himself and the bullet enter his brain stem. He had the bullet load figured pretty good. Didn't Penn and Teller do a bullet catch on television and in one of their New York shows. |

I second the paintball catch. Look up "velocity" by Scott Alexander. I perform it and get great reactions!

It's "12 have died". Originally from Ray Goulet's Magic Art book company.
