I saw dots once, everywhere I turned, dots, dots and more dots, then I realized I was just eating ice cream too fast...

I was lucky enough to see Mickey in the Magic Castle's Hat & Hare Pub last Friday.

It took me an hour after "seeing" that imaginary coin to realize that I was watching a choreographed-like close-up manipulation, with multiple levels of attention control at an energetic pace.

Mickey is one of the nicest, sharing guys I've ever met - he gave those of us who asked a copy of his demo - and I eagerly await his DVD.

Hats off people!

I got my copy of his DVD yesterday, without even asking him directly. Very generous. My hat's OFF. Smile

Mickey's is the best I've seen, hopefully it won't be another 2 yrs before he releases the teaching DVD.

The magic castle? I'm 20 mins. from the castle and would have paid double to just meet him. Oh well, my fault for not being on top of the schedule. Until next time! -Dan

I've only seen a clip of Mickey once, but was extremely impressed. Maybe someday, I'll see his great retention vanish...yes, I admit I'm a bit jealous! I sure did enjoy his performance...hopefully we'll see more of him!

I don't get it? What do we need a teaching dvd for? Its easy to figure out. Its one move with some shuttle passes and a s**LL.

Maybe I am missing somthing.

Wattonmagic my friend, I'd advise you to look at some other "Mickey Silver" threads around here for some background on who knows what...

Just how the coin moves into and out of high FP is something of an unsolved mystery around here.

Mickey seems to want it to stay a mystery for now.

Vinny,
Guess Watto should give us a video of his shuttle passes with the [ just so we can see how good he is. BUt to answer his question, you/we need the dvd from mickey because we CAN'T do that and we all want to.

I've seen some great rov vanishes and such, but I've never seen anyone as smooth and convincing as Mickey (although, Larry Barnowski has some very nice ones as well). Just as Mr. Townsend said, his ability to take a coin in and out of high FP is startling. I, for one, would love to know his mechanics for doing this!
