I have a set of Owens 12'hollow rings. Great set ! One of the singles has broken.
Any way to repair it? Thank you for your help.

Why mention it here? Contact Owen.

No, no way to repair it, you can take it to a local welder and see if he will try and fix it. The hollow would be easier to fix then the solid, just stick a sleeve in the ring and hold together then weld. Piece of cake!

Owen's sells separate rings for $80, that was as of 2005, so they may be higher now.

In case you were wondering, Owen's does not guarantee their products.

You can also try contacting Harry Murphy here on the Café, I think he said he has a few spare Owen's rings.

Buy Klamm's next time - he stands behind his products.

Jim,
Thank you for the suggestion but long ago I had a set and didn't like them.
The seams were visible. They just don't compare to Owens.

I am very surprised that at those prices they don't guarentee their rings!!

CONTACT ALAN ZAGORSKI AT OWEN'S and find out. Don't rely on second hand opinions.

When I worked there, they did replace them. Not if abused, but they will repair --- talk to Alan.

So that begs the question....any cost for the actual repair? (P.S. I agree, I love the 12" rings!)
