Hi!
A friend of mine bought a black/dark brown painted wooden folding chair. It had green fabric on the seat. I think it was bought from Hocus Pocus 2004. Maybe built in Vegas. Now I´m looking for one of these. Anyone who knows where to find and who the builder was/is? Best Regards Jimmy http://www.jimmycarlsson.se |

I found a posting from 2006 saying Jason Baney made a folding chair, checking his site they are no longer available.
I did run across a folding chair fashioned after an actual folding chair that was on the consumer market 40 years ago. The company is long out of business, but the chair folded into a square shape. I remember Harry Anderson using one on television in his act. I also have one of these from years ago. I cannot remember where I seen it, but a magic builder is building what looks like the exact same commercial product. It was priced at $2000 as I remember, so I did not keep a web reference. Maybe someone else will know where to find it. This chair folds up to approx. 24" L x 16" W x 3" thick. |

Payne has a nice folding chair, as shown in this video. Perhaps he has a lead.

Jason Baney does a beautiful job with these chairs and makes them look fantastic. He puts a lot of work repainting, sanding, upholstering, and painting so they look awesome. You can find him at http://www.jasonbaney.com to ask if he still has some available.
You won't be disappointed. |
