Hello everyone!

Thanks for responding!

Recently I received this from trade and am having so much fun with it!

Wanted to know if any of you have it, and what type of response you're getting!

Thank You!

Steve,

What exactly is Close's Dollar Bill?

Is it by chance Rubik's Dollar?

I don't know what it is, either. But if it is from Michael Close, it's gotta be good!

Performer folds playing card around dollar bill, and then pierces both with toothpick.

Dollar bill is then freely slid back and forth within the folds of the playing card; at conclusion dollar bill is left in perfect condition, except for the small pierce initially given.

Seems impossible!

A wonderful trick by Mike Close.

Hope this helps guys!

Sincerely,

Steve Landavazo

A much easier to prepare and perform (but just as strong) version of this effect appears in "Lou Gallo, The Underground Man."

Joe Stevens used to sell Rubik's bill already assembled for about $20.00. But that was about the time Workers II came out. It may be out of circulation (pun intended) Smile

There is a marketed effect using this principle with two cards. Don't remember the name but I have a great routine based around Houdini using this gimmick.

Just got Very Very Close #3 and learned the Rubik's Dollar Bill. So simple, so devious and so much eye candy! Hey, to you workers out there it also 'packs small and plays big'!
