This is a trick involving tissue paper tears and the production of streamers and a paper birthday cake. Anybody used it? Yays or nays? I'm thinking about getting it for a party I have coming up soon for some young ones.

Thank you! Smile

Eleazar began doing his own version of this in 2005, shortly after his e-Book "Tear-Able Magic" was published. He noticed that his 3-D Top Hat production resembled a birthday cake on a plate, and used the pattern of the Top Hat paper tear to make a Birthday Cake Tear instead. It's just a matter of changing the colors of the tissue papers used for the "hat/cake" and for the decorations. He decided not to publish his variation but anyone who has the "Top Hat Paper Tear" directions can see the obvious connection. When he got a small hamster as a pet, he began loading it into the "cake" and setting it down on the table. The hamster moves the cake around until he lifts it up and surprises everyone with "Harry Houdini Hamster."

That sounds cute. Thanks for the reply- sounds like a worthwhile investment.
