There are several performers who are selling their shows on various subjects, drugs, smoking, etc. I have never ran across a topic like "Road Safety" that anyone is pursuing.
Another bad thing, tricks in this genre were mainly children's tricks, and the leading children trick magic company was Supreme Magic, they went out of business 40 years ago or so in England. It seems you have chosen a new topic, and will have to do your own research, and finding and making your own magic tricks, unless you can find relatable tricks to your comments. You might contact your local police department or Fire Department (they also deal with bicycle safety) that does children school shows and see what they do on the subject for children. This may give you a beginning plan for your magic show on this topic. Most large city police departments have programs they present to schools. That is the only thing I can suggest on this topic. Then you might start spending your time on large magic sites like Daytona Magic and Hank Lee's Magic Factory, to browse the magic tricks for ideas. Here are some ideas: http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=1 http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=1 http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=1 http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=1 http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php......0&page=1 You might look at David Ginn site, he a professional School show performer. http://www.ginnmagic.com/ Also Sammy Smith: http://www.spsmagic.com/ Then you might also post further questions in the "The Little Darlings" section of the Café. Good luck! |

Here's a couple ideas:
This one is a stoplight card trick http://bobsolarimagic.com/shop/Children%......ch%20%29 I used David Ginn's color changing shoelaces in my first children's show recently and since they're red, yellow and green was able to talk about the stoplight with those. Threw in some comedy too. Here's a video for the shoelaces: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcN0XWhhVtM I got mine here, from MJM : http://www.mjmmagic.com/store/color-chan......478.html There's also little black stoplight card tricks available for like 2 bucks- you can find them if you look. That one Bill posted called wrong way looks pretty cool too Hope these help.

Google Christopher Manos. He has some interesting material you might be able to use.

Karrell Fox once put out a silk handkerchief blendo trick where the red, yellow and green individual single silks changed into one colored traffic light after the usual bit of dropping one and making an early "mistake" etc.
I don't know if this is still available... Julie |

Those links Bill provided are awesome, and I hate saying this...I would avoid Hank Lee's Magic Factory like the plague! If you must order from them, call them and make SURE they have the item you want. They are notorious for back-ordering. You'll wait weeks, sometimes MONTHS. Hank was just charged and sentenced, so his help must me running things. I recommend caution...

Hi dude the magic arrow trick could be re worked in to a road sign. Something about keep left.
Just a air of caution with the idea. Are schools going to be happy to pay for this when they can get the police in for free to cover this topic. I am not saying this is a bad idea and in my ways I think it great and it will work.

In reflection of what I said. You could get a host of things like drug awareness and stranger dangour and become a alternative to the police and government stuff. I did not mean it was a did horse. And I love your coment can only but try.
