I want to add balloons to my kid shows and I am wondering what books/ dvds to purchase?
Thanks in advance. Also any places to buy the proper balloons would be nice.

The best prices I've seen are from http://www.btydirect.com/. As far as learning, there are frequently used dvd's for sale here on the Café and other places. I prefer DVD's, but some people prefer books. Also, YouTube has a ton of free how to videos - though the quality of those really varies a lot, but you can find good stuff if you wade through it.

The balloon artist in the "Ballooning 101" forum will be able to give you the most advice.

There are so many it's difficult to know where to start. I've always enjoyed browising through tmyers.

This is a bit of an investment, but worth it:

Do some searching to see if there are any local balloon twisters you can meet to learn more about balloon twisting. They may not teach you, sensing you are "opposition", but if they do, you'll learn some important stuff from them.
The presentation makes the magic.
