This fellow makes the present day crop look rather silly in comparison. And I bet few of you have ever heard of him.

Thanks for posting this Invest. I hadn't heard of him either but will be looking for more of his work online. What an amazing performer, he has the perfect charm, chatter and sleight of hand to captivate his audience while robbing them blind. Love it.

I believe he was George Kovari's mentor. Of course George doesn't do pickpocketing but he learned a lot about magic from Rodolfo who was probably Hungary's most famous magician. That pickpocketing sequence that Invest posted is the greatest I have ever seen. Just my opinion of course. I have often thought that the greatest magicians are sometimes the ones we have never heard of.

He was Hungarian ( as I am ), his stage name was Rodolfo ( real name is Rezsõ Grosz ).
He was very well known sleight of hand magician ( and pickopocket of course ), he had a famous sentence : "Just watch my hand, cause I'm cheating" - and they watched it, but still couldn't see the cheating. |

By failing to prepare, we are preparing to fail.
