I have been considering using one of outlaw book tests at my Psychic Entertainment nights and after doing some background reading here on the Café and the Outlaw site I seem to have decided that that either the WA or BOA would be the most suitable. The WA would seem to be a better option as it utilises Tarot cards and my Psychic Entertainment nights do involve tarot readings, the BOA on the other hand would seem to be more suitable for Séance type nights. Could the BOA be also used in a similar way to the WA and utilise tarot cards or is it primarily designed for Séance nights.

I have WA and use the crib book marker! The book marker makes this a no brainer. And let's you concentrate on performing.
You can do WA and have a Mojo bag with items inside to expand the routine. I really like the WA along with reflections. Ray |

With the WA you have an option of a little gifting at the conclusion, always a nice idea.

Hi Kevin,
I too personally agree with the others and would go with WA. Just cause I think it sounds more like you as a reader, but also its a killer routine to perform (even without using it as a reading tool). My routine with the WA now starts off with remote viewing, personal reading and a vision that the spectator imagines. Than a prediction of a specific object/thing the spectator is thinking of. And as a finish, the spectator reads my mind. I suppose BOA could be used for readings if you had the imagination to set up the premise that way, but I havent tried. Hope that helped, M.I. |

Thanks all for your advice, I will just have to decide which version to get. I think Mind Illusionist has described very well the type of thing that I am hoping to achieve.
I have just started gifting my sitters at the conclusion of there readings and from what I have read above the WA looks like it could enhance this so thanks for highlighting this. Is the crib book marker actually something that is provided with the WA or is it something that can be made as I could not see any mwention of it on the outlaw site. Thanks again Regards Kevin |

Hi Kevin, I only have the soft cover metal ring binder version, and I love it.
I think it is just up to your style and presentation, I know other people with the hardcover love their WA too! The marker was a special something that Cody stoltz (another genius and worker at outlaw) made for WA owners only. Im not sure if he is still giving out the pdfs for it, you will have to ask it. You can try just asking Rick about it, but as far as I know, it is not part of the outlaw WA set that you pay for. regards, M.I. |

I have the WA Collectors edition and I love it... Since getting Lun@ ring bound I see the added advantage of the ring bound too (looks tatty, lays flat, you can add more items, looks like it's used more often)
I printed the crib on thick cream colored paper and stuck it to black card with UHU glue which automatically ages it

I would go with the WA collector's edition. It looks like a nice old book, and like the others have said, the routine is a killer.

I too recommend WA and think that the soft cover with ring binding is more than adequate. With the money you save, you may be able to purchase another winner from Outlaw's fine stable of booktests.

Myself, I would get both. Buy one at a time. I had the same problem with L*n@. Which one of the three books? I finally just decided to get all three. Best decision, and best purchase I have ever made in magic!
You already see the advantages of both books. You only live once. Make them both a goal! You WILL use them both at some time. Doug |
