Hi, I am making a list of tricks that involve dice. Please post any tricks or effects that involve dice.

Also note that all the tricks in my list so far need props and there are no tricks needing sleight. Are there any such tricks?

So far I have these:

Bob Sheets its the rules. (These first two are the same but different)

Dice stacking,

There is a dice matrix were you have the dice set in a squer with the number 1, 2, 3 ,4 face up and the dice go across in order.

Then a version of two hats 4 marbles can be done with different colour dice or any small objects.

All of these use no gaffs, regular dice and various level of slight along with miss direction. Let me know if these help. and which ones fit what your looking for as I migth have a few more ideas

Badlands Bob is one awesome dice trick. I purchased it in July and have had a blast performing it. You might want to consider the World's Greatest Magic DVD on "Magic with Dice".

Great suggestions, I did not know that there are so many things that can be done with dice. Time to check them now

John Kennedy has a great dice effect called Double Whammy. It gets a great reaction!

I recently bought an old bag of magic tricks from an antique store.There was a dice trick called"red devils"in the bag.

Not sure if you can still purchase it. I used to have it but wore the spots off of the one die

'Dicey' by Bob Ostin is unique because they're folded paper. Originally produced by Emerson & West. You can still score 'em at The Magic Gadget Site for a reasonable price, the last time I checked.

One amazing trick is Axel Hecklau's "Just a Cup" which uses a die.

I believe this is a version of "two in the pocket, one in the hand" using small red dice.

What's Badlands Bob's effect ?

In the venon Book of magic he has Climax to for a dice routine.

Aldo C. has some DVDs on Dice and Cards also.

As Paul said above. Miller's Dice routine is a nice routine, although I'm not sure how easy it is to find today ?

Badlands Bob is a marketed effect from Viking Magic. A die is captured inside a wooden box with a clear cover on top. The six is on top. The die cannot roll inside the box because the box is too small, but you can change the number displayed on top of the die that is selected by the spectators. You need to go to Viking's website and check it out. It is well built, and unlike most tricks the routine furnished with it really plays well.
