I've been drilling Bob and Glenn's one-minute workout, and I just started performing it in parlor settings. It's awesome! A natural next step would be to learn something like Glenn's 3-minute routine, but I would like to do something that's less of a show piece and more interactive with spectators. I'm mainly a card guy, and much of what I perform is interactive.
Any suggestions where to see that kind of work with 3 shells and a pea? Spike |

Yes, the best place is inside of you. Most the good routines are the ones that fit the one doing them and when you view other shell routines you should think on how you would do it different to fit your style. Most shell routines you are going to find things you like and things you don't. Take the things you like and think on how you could make it work better with your style in a different way. I think it is good to view others for ideas, to spark a idea that fits you. Youtube has many shell routines. Some are good and a lot are the same old thing. The ones that are the same old thing, is the ones that have not found a routine that fits them. This does not happen over night just because you know now the game works and know most of the moves. But I'm sure you know this is the same case when you are performing your card tricks. There is now many dvd's out on the shell game to speed the search to find what works for you. Sounds like you are on the right track in knowing what you want to do and need to give yourself a chance. I bet you will even surprise yourself.
Keep at it and good luck in finding your routine. Al
