Thank you Professor Smile
Not pictured are 7 rusty nails I also use in the routine: an idea I came up with based on an illusion my father invented.
I was asked if I use this in performance: the answer is yes and it's one of the strongest effects I know.
My act is mainly mentalism-driven, I do seances/readings, chiromancy (all second degree in case you wonder-I'm an entertainer) and for the last 2 1/2 to 3 years I've started sneaking in bizarre magic.
This effect is simple and I like simplicity. But the impact is very strong and this I underestimated! I'm an archeologist and so these kind of items fit into my character.
I like the fairy series too: this to me is the key to where I'd like to go with my act - and subsequently with my life.

Thank you Professor and all who continue to produce (and THINK) these priceless (ok, not thát priceless) miracles.Smile

xxx Morgaine (though at this time of the afternoon Migraine - colleague at university, birthday, white wine...)

I have just managed to pick this up on the second hand market.

Not had time to do anything at all with it just yet though.

IDarkness, I had just contacted Dan the other day to find out when these would be back in stock. Thanks for the heads up on the second hand sale here, you saved me the wait.

Morgaine, you've taken a creepy routine and made it even creepier with the addition of that coffin handle! Brilliant!

More TOD on the way. Just took the new batch out of the etchant and will begin aging and preparing them for shipment to Dan. Perhaps 2 weeks out.

Best,

I concur, it's a great back story and very authentic tags (great for carry around).

It is still showing 'sold out' on Dan's site because they are not finished, and there is always some wastage as I make them. I don't yet know how many there will be, and I am not comfortable selling product that I do not have in hand and ready to ship.

I don't know about pre-ordering. Dan handles that side of things. An email to him would perhaps help me to know how many I actually *should* be making.

Thanks for asking,

For sale? I doubt it. I've not been invited to Myrtle Beach as an exhibitor but rather as a lecturer. Also, there seems to be some interest in these that I am currently making, and I doubt that I'll have time to make additional stock between now and the conference (the next Doppelganger and something rather special for Gemini Artifacts are both claiming my holiday break as soon as these toe tags are finished).

I will, however, certainly have my personal TOD set with me and you will be most welcome to examine it. Thank you for asking.

I will also have (for display purposes only) my personal collection of many of my effects, both those that are (or have been) on the market as well as my still-underground pieces from my act, and I have been asked by the organizers to bring all of my books to show. So you can expect to see PHANTOMS, DarkSpell, GH*ST, the complete Doppelganger set plus some other goodies of mine at the conference.

There should also be something brand new and of distinct interest for back-of-the-room sale after my lecture that my close friend Vic Nadata has agreed to sell under the Gemini Artifacts banner. This is something different than the 'rather special' something that I am creating for Gemini alluded to earlier.

Hmmm. I suppose all of this really ought to be over in the ECSS thread, but I've been keen to keep a lot of it as a surprise for the ECSS weekend--so it'll stay here for the time being.

Happy Christmas Eve!

Another question concerning the new batch. If we order from the U.S. when it becomes available will it ship from you or from Dan. I would love to be able to have the chance to get it shipped from your neck of the woods vs. across the pond.
