I was wondering if there was a gimmick that attaches to a cane so you can spin it around many times. Like a clip, that would attach to the body of the cane and maybe had a metal rod you could hold so you could give the cane a good smack and the cane would spin like mad.
Thank you for any help or ideas. James

I remember a trick where the cane had a pin with a half-ring clip that was held on the palm side of the middle finger. The hand was held flat palm out to the audience, and the cane was spun in front of the open hand. Wouldn't be hard to make or have made.
You might be able to work something similar with a magnet finger ring and a magnet in the cane. |

Yes,there was a gimmick. There was also a way to do it using t****d. I think Ganson put out a book called the Acrobatic Cane that covers it.

My cane is a fiberglass cane from cold steel. Pretty heavy. Thanks gentlemen for the answers. I am thinking it could be made by just ABS plastic and a metal rod
Thanks again, James

Xiqual,
If you use ABS plastic and t****d, it's pretty easy to conceal. Much easier than a metal bar. PM me if you want details. Cordially, Paula |

Better yet, ask Pop Whit Haydn (always a smart bet)for details of what he is talking about. It sounds more practical than t****d, and easy to conceal.
