Is it just me or has there been an increasing amount of Café members with a username ending with ini ? What's the deal with that? It's starting to drive me crazini.

-ini is just a simple suffix that a lot of magicians (myself included) use to give themselves that "magic flair." Personally, I don't use Andini as my stage name anymore but it's kind of become my Internet identity. I'm Andini in pretty much every forum and chatroom that I'm a part of! It's been that way for the past 5 years so what's the point of changing it now? I don't want to confuse people!

It really does have a magical ring to it. I'm surprised not more people have adopted it. Just think of these names on the marquis...
Biroini, Chrystalini, Calebini, Stewartini, Vinnyini, Anabelleini, Firediceini, Valisini, Hideoini, Blindboini.... Actually, that last one sounds like it should be prefaced with "The Flying". Maybe not a good idea afterall. |

Firediceini? Hmmm... Doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, does it? How about Firedice Ling Soo? I like that! Or maybe Blinbo Copperfield! Yeah!

Blindo.
Vinny doesn't need to add the ending. He really is the Great Marini Howard |

I forgot about the famous magic duo. The great Martini and his faithful partner, Linguini

Affectation from the romance languages...
a bit antique, like the top hat and cane... though seem to offer the comforts of tradition to those who wish to be like that guy who wanted to be like Robert Houdin... so he put the 'i' at the end. history can be fun

All right this could be a long list.
Here we go: The Matrix(Ice cool film which, at least to me wasn't confusing at all) Gladiator(just love the idea behind it, oh and the really cool fights) Sleepy Hollow(The set is glorious ) Austin powers ("Ransom the world for..........$1,000,000 Dollars) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (those meat hooks kick butt) Predator 1 (Kick butt gore fix with the joint best futuristic monster) Alien films (again the joint best monster) Rambo films (all that grunting, oh that really is a testosterone fix) 28 Days Later (Brutal ) Nosferatu (my god that still freaks me out in the part where he's outside the window) Scream 2 ( it's the most nerve-jangling of the trilogy, and even thought it's the least clichéd it still is corny but easy to watch) Legend (Oh I love fantasy films) All Lord of the Rings (I really do love fantasy) and finally every single 60's/70's films based on greek myths e.g. Jason and the argonauts, Perseus. |

Florianini,
Are you sure you didn't mean "Matrixini", etc.? Oh, and I agree with you on Jasonini and the Argoini's... |

Ha Ha!!! Still laughing over Andini's joke!
Chrystalini...hmm dunno Blindboini...not a bad ring to it. Too bad there wasn't a Café member called BK...we would then call him BKini. Groaners that was bad...I'd better try to find some better jokes. |
