Over the last 10 years, my act has gotten very puppet and music heavy.

When I got to a venue on Tuesday evening, the lady that hired me said, they are really looking forward to your magic.

Well, I had planned a couple of magical things for the 45-50 minute program, but thought..hmm perhaps I will add a couple more things.

I did and we(the audience and I) were satisfied with the results.

The magic props were..
1. The rigid rope
2. Circle to square(no not the Square Circle production)
3. Crazy compass...

The day after, when I checked back with the lady, she said she found something. I first thought she was going to tell me I left a prop.
She said, she found the "flea" I used in the rigid rope routine.
We both had a laugh.
The crazy compass was used to tell the story of getting lost to the party, even though I was given the "right ->" direction. I even went up a tree ...AAAAAAH!

Simple effects...but they appreciated them.
