After getting several PM's yesterday asking about an all cursed Carnie deck in addition to the Cursed & Blessed deck, we made the decision to go forward with it. We had the cards done. We were originally going to release an all Cursed Carnie deck, when I decided that a Cursed and Blessed deck would be cool.

Half the cards cursed half Blessed, allowing for some very interesting ideas including the ability to do an OOTW routine with Tarot.

The final results are two additional decks for the Carnie line.

Carnie Cursed & Blessed

Both will start shipping next week.

Here are some of the Cursed Carnie cards as dark forces pull and tear at them Smile

Carnie is a beautifully aged tarot set. You can use it as a regular 22 cards major aracana tarot or use its hidden features for even more sinister displays of psychic powers.

Cuss Cards, well, those are something different... The only sure way to find out is to order. Worked for me. Smile But let's say, they are not tarot and there's an elaborate story line and act woven around them. Basically, they can be used to play a game. A game where your very soul is at stake... Muahahahahaaaa....

As,stated above...Cuss Cards, are not Tarot Cards!

BTW, I think the Cursed Carnie,is my favorite in the Carnie,Tarot!

Well, I guess the main difference is that these are bases on tarot major arcana and the cuss cards are cursing cards.

Aaaaah, but would you rather handle a curse, or a cuss? and what is the difference?

and how does using these affect the audience reaction? if you're giving a reading, I would be very interested in how they would be perceived when you reveal they are cursed...i do own an original set of carnie tarot...

The beauty of Tarot is in the interpretation, or is that the curse? Smile

Iain is asking some interesting questions here.

For those of us who own a set of cuss cards, we know they're different than tarot cards; much different!

I think the idea of "cursed" tarot cards is an interesting one. There are many tarot decks that are darker than others, so a cursed tarot deck doesn't seem all that un-natural.

As Roth put it, "the interpretation is in the mind of the performer"

I'd like to hear what others think of what Iain is asking here. . .

The cuss cards are not intended for divination, per se, like tarot cards.

Ah, so the only real commonality is that they are both cussed/cursed then?

for those that combine readings in with whatever else you do... how do you feel about presenting these cards as an oracle? or would you just reserve these cards for bizarre presentations?

Cussing/curse cards have been around in many genres. From gypsy lore to "Magic the Gathering" games.

They're used to put a curse on someone.

I don't think the A.M. Cuss cards are intended to put a curse on someone though

The Carnie cards themselves have had their images cursed by someone. They are not cursing cards. Of course they can be used just like any arcana for readings.

I don't think we should be discussing to deeply here. Iain I would take your inquiries downstairs Smile

Hey Iain,

Maybe I can help clarify a few things. I own both the Cuss Cards (CC's) and the Carnie Tarot (CT). The CC's are an effect with a presentation. The new CT decks are the third and forth incarnations of the original CT. A deck of props with no presentation. The fact that the upcoming CT have some "cursed" cards and some "blessed" cards is in no way comparable to the CC's. Apples and Oranges!

With that said, I would LOVE to have a discussion (down in the crypt) about cursed tarot cards and what kind of presentations we can come up with for them. . .

This is the original Carnie, only ...cursed !

They have the same backs, only with a strange "darkness" about them. The same system.

Will be posting a few more really wicked cursed cards today.

Well, the story behind the curse is also revealed for the first time.

There is someone..Carlotta Tess. She, well, I really can't say anymore. If she's here it could be a danger to all of us Smile
