Greetings and Salutations,
I wouldn't want to take any money out of Michael's hands, but there are some other alternatives. I found mini baseballs, along with mini footballs (European and US footballs) at Home Depot, in the lighting center, at the end of pull chains for ceiling fan lighting kits. I think they were about $3 each. The pull-chains are attached to the balls will small corkscrew-type affairs. The balls were leather with red stitching. I don't know if they still carry them or not, but I'm thinking a well-equipped lighting store or section of a store would still carry them. It's been several years ago that I got mine, and at the price I purchased all that the particular store had (two sets worth). And the first set is still in great shape, if a bit discolored from regular handling. Just my $.02 (USD) worth. I think I got a lead on the idea from a thread here on the Café. YMMV. Greetings and Salutations,
Glad to help out, and, yes, WS, those appear to be what I found at a Home Depot, particularly the baseballs. They cost a bit more than I remember, but as I said, I purchased mine three or four years ago. But as long as the size works for you, you're still saving about $10. Joe Zeman aka The Mage Ulysses |

The Mike Rodgers mini baseballs were specifically designed for cups and balls and do not "talk." I always look for the right tool for the right job. You can also get them for the chop cup.

Bob Little carries some that are handmade, at a good price too. I don't know if he sells online, but you can call him.
