I was looking forward to this package but was sadly disappointed.
The instructions First Jay took the time to shoot a trailer but not any full demos that you could watch, to at least see the effects. Instead you get a six page book that is barely instructional with things like 'do a snap wand vanish', 'a marlo twirl', 'a mercury card..' etc. So if you are not a serious amateur or a pro they you're out of luck. Almost all the 'explanations' are either one or two paragraphs that's it. The props The props are nothing you could not find in a dime store around Halloween: A plastic spider, four pea sized skulls, a walnut sized skull, a small coffin that looked like candy came in it, a skeletal finger, a pad of flash paper and some IT. All in all this seems to be a collection of quick ideas instead of well presented effects. I think anyone with a little bit of experience could have easily come up with the same ideas. The most disappointing package I've ever purchased. |

I thought as well as the 20 effects this was going to contain
"Killer tips on you how you can transform your favorite magic and mentalism into Halloween performance stand-outs! Valuable marketing secrets to help you promote yourself during the Halloween season" what about the killer tips? wasn't your six page booklet crammed with marketing secrets? |

For me Sankey's output jumped the shark a long time ago.
However, the Vanishing Inc. books are well worth investing in as they contain his older, much stronger stuff imho.

#9 Pull my finger. A joke where you ask someone to pull the skeleton finger and make a fart noise. According to the manual it's a killer joke.
That's one of the 'effects' |

My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

That's a real shame. I only have a few of Jay Sankey's effects - mostly videos - and they are great. They are from some years ago though. Things change.

Eventually you run out of material. I mean Jay Sankey has been releasing DVDs every couple of months. And like with everything else, the older it is, the better or rather: the longer ago he released it the better the effect is.

Agreed this arrived and will just sit collecting dust. The instructions are poor and the included items--cheap. Terrible package!!

Not to outdo Sankey, but I'm coming out with my BooHoo package. It will include an old frying pan, used socks, an empty water bottle, some vaseline and one page of instructions.
