Hello,
I’ve been tasked with creating a ventriloquist dummy for my children’s pastor at church. I sculpt commercially part time in the collectables market, so I am confident in the sculpt, molding , casting and painting areas, but I am looking for some help in the rigging. I have one of Jeff Dunhan’s dvd’s where he goes through his process of creating a character and it has many good tips. I just thought I would inquire from some of the pro’s here if there are good resources I could get before I’m too far along.
Regards,

On-line, Al Stevens has a guide called The Fred Project at: http://www.alstevens.com/ventriloquism/fred.html
I also recommend Mike Brose's book Figure Making Can Be Fun - http://www.puppetsandprops.com/VideosAndBooks.html |
