Received this message from Del Wilson this afternoon;

Dear FCM Family,

Please stop and pray for Kif Anderson immediately.

He was taken to the hospital with a serious infection after a recent surgery.

I have no details to share but this infection may be life threatening.

Thank you for praying.

For HIS glory,
Del

Kif Anderson just passed away this past hour. Please lift his family in your prayers!

I am sitting here stunned, sad and shocked after reading the above. Crying quite honestly about losing a friend. I am so glad Kif is with Jesus today but I know I speak for many that this is one of the toughest things I have ever known as part of the FCM family. I will pray for his family, and I hope they know we all share in their grief. May His Spirit comfort them and us all.

What a loss to the his family and the community! Kif was indeed one of the nicest, kindest and most generous person you could imagine.
Please pray for comfort for his family. Kif touched a lot of lives and he will be sorely missed.

I just told my wife that I had never realized how much of a connection people could develop online. I will miss Kif more than I could have imagined.
Prayers for his family.

I am truly stunned! I read Del's e-mail on the way home and was just broken. I had a chance to chat briefly with Gilbert Adams and he too was deeply moved. Kif was a great guy, an even better brother and truly loved our Lord. The family needs us to pray.

peace,

May Kif's reward in heaven be as abundant as the laughs that he generated in the lives of those who enjoyed his company and performances.

Truly no man knows what each day holds - so glad that Kif knew who holds each day. Prayers for grace and comfort for his family in these days of grief.

It appears this was Kif's last posting on The Magic Café...not surprising it was to encourage and offer support.

Way to go! Keep building on it and get the message out there! We are here to be all the support we can be!

I am going to miss Kif. Encourage someone today in obedience to Christ and in memory of Kif.

Losing Kif has made a ache in my heart that is on the same level as losing a family member.
His encouragement and willingness to share a routine will be missed.

I didn't know Kif. In fact, this is the first time I have heard of him. Makes no difference. He was a brother in magic and in God. How could I NOT feel sad? Man, ya never know. Remember this, my friends...you never know when the last time you'll see someone!

I have always gotten a light-hearted laugh from my friends who find it odd that I shake hands coming and going and hug the ladies, because I think, "This may be the last time I ever see them". So many in my life are no longer here. Sometimes I wonder why I was allowed to live!

May Kif rest in God, and look forward to the Resurrection and meeting Yeshua! Yes, I will pray for his family as well.

So, so sad - Kif and I still had so many stories yet to share with each other. I feel great loss for his stage partner Oz. There are no words...

Del said the Voice of the FCM was literally going to print yesterday- so Mike could only get a short announcement in it. Then in the following issue there will be a huge salute to Kif. Steve Varro sent out via email last night at 3AM of some of the comments he received so far, just remarkable to read how many lives Kif wonderfully influenced. As Gene (Oz) suggested, just smile when you think of Kif... we were all blessed to know him. Kif used to call me personally from time to time regarding various FCM matters and trick ideas- my last time with him was in the 2012 FCM dealer room when he was looking for a tie to wear to the annual meeting. He found just the right flashy one to match his suit jacket- we had a good laugh over finding one so cool yet inexpensively. We always eagerly talked about the stuff put out by Wolf Magic- we sometimes swapped emails about our latest purchases. I will miss Kif greatly, I hope we have a really big something or other in his honor in Nashville.

I have known Kif for about 10 years and I am so sad over his sudden departure. He was very helpful in what limited development I have made so far and he was always so generous to those in the LAFCM during his terms as President or whenever he shared an effect with the group. I have just been stunned since getting the news. I have nthing else to say at the moment but I will miss him a lot.

Thanks for all the kind words. We have all lost a brother and a friend. But his legacy will live on through his many projects, written words, and those he encouraged and mentored. This coming Friday will be the funeral, but it will not end there. As Kif always said... it is about the message. The message still needs to go out. We still need to be very creative about sharing that message. So be creative, come up with new ideas, and go unto all the world and live the gospel... he did until the very end.

Blessings to you. If you want to pass onto the family any stories, words, pictures, etc. Please email them to me at

Hugs to you all.... Oz

Gene,
There may be many who wish to send flowers or make a contribution to the family or honor Kif and the family in some other way. Would you consider posting any details regarding the service or family requests for those who cannot be there but wish to participate in some way.
Thank you. You also are in our prayers.
Love in Christ,
Gary

Shelley and I cannot express how devastated we were to hear of this news.
We express our deepest condolences to his partner in magic, Gene, and Kif's family and pray for them to have the strength to get through this difficult time.
Kif was a very special person who LOVED magic. He and Gene entertained children and families while delivering positive Gospel messages.
Kif was a VERY loyal supporter of our company as well as a good friend.
He and Gene came to visit us awhile back and it was one of the greatest visits we had as Kif had an ability to inspire and invigorate one's enthusiasm.
Our son Roagan absolutely loved him and still talks about the wonderful gifts he brought and the fun he had.
He will be missed so much.
May he Rest in Peace.
