I am currently in the process of designing a new head twister, one that does away with that big ugly box. It is to be something similar to the one seen on the 'twister' illusion that twists both the head and body. My problem however is how to attach the rotating box which the head is in onto the base as I am not using a 'roof' on the illusion. Any help would be great as I have been thinking about this for some time.

Hi, how about suspending the head box part from a thin gantry type frame ie the swivel comes from the hanging top, rather than the bottom !!

Kondini I thought of that possibility also and then rejected it when I saw the attachment used in a twister. From what I can see it has some metal base that has been purchased with some slight modifications. What I do need is the name of this item. Thanks

If you're referring to the ring that spins, it's called a Lazy Susan.
